Ha Gao (Cantonese, also romanized as Ha Gou, Har Gou, or Ha Gau, meaning "shrimp dumplings") is perhaps the most classic dim sum delicacy seen in every dim sum restaurant on earth, no matter how limited menu. It works great as an appetizer for Western dishes, however in China it is exclusively dim sum or a street snack sold alongside other favorite dim sums.
