Aroy-D Red Curry Paste is a mildly spicy paste that goes great with meat curries as well as bean curries. Red curry paste has a hot, spicy flavor and is added as a condiment to many Asian dishes. Before adding the curry paste to the rest of the ingredients, it is first fried to allow its aroma to develop and enhance its taste. Traditional Thai cuisine, in which curries are a classic, curry paste is fried in coconut cream, more specifically in oil, which is separated during the process of bringing the cream to a boil.
Ingredients: Dried red chili pepper, garlic, lemongrass, shallot, salt, galangal, kaffir lime, cumin, coriander.
